Card Box

I have been busy working on a couple of baby showers for next month.  I have been crafting which I love.  I wanted to share with you one of my diy projects.  I have seen these card boxes on internet and thought to myself, hey this looks like something I could do.   I love how it came out.  What do you think?

Halloween Party

I finally have a little time to stop and go through the Monster Halloween pictures. This party was for my grandson.  I just love that little boy so much and he was so excited and very happy.

Let’s start off with the centerpieces.  I wanted something nice and easy. I went a cleaning mitt and added a googly eye.  I placed the mitt over a small vase and sat it on a plastic bin that I covered with paper.  I loved how they came out.

I initially wanted to hang the paper lanterns from the ceiling, but due to my height I had to hang them on on the wall.

The activity section was foam Halloween cut-outs that the children could decorate.  Dani (my daughter) created the balloon columns

There was also a section for monster bowling.  I took empty soda bottles and decorated them.

We also did pin-the eye on the monster. Dani did a great job painting the monster.

This section was the photo booth.  I created this out of a card board lemonade stand.   I purchased this at CVS during their summer clearance sale, I paid little to nothing.  Kind of mad that I didn’t buy 2 =). Oh well, but with a little decorations it came out nice, have to give Dani props on this one she did the decorating.

I mixed some store bought items and some items that I made to create the dessert buffet.

We went with cupcakes from the supermarket and I added monster cupcake liners and picks.  You can never go wrong with cupcakes and I love cupcakes especially Stop and Shop, the best..  Also on the table giant pixy sticks, doughnuts, cheese puffs,  lollipops, Little Debbie pumpkin delights.  OMG one of the parents asked me how I made those, once I told her my secret we got a big kick out of that one.  Lol!

I made the marshmallow pops, chocolate covered oreos and pretzels.

 One happy Power Ranger!!
